HAF Programme at OJ’s Holiday Club?

The HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme is a government
initiative designed to provide children with activities and nutritious
meals during school holidays. The programme aims to support children who
are eligible for benefit-related free school meals, or who have an EHCP,
by offering them free access to holiday clubs and activities.

Please note that we are not a drop-off service and parents and carers
are required to stay with their child/children.

FAQ’s

At OJ’s Holiday Club, we are proud to accommodate free HAF places for children who receive a HAF code. We are the SEND provision for this government programme so this means that eligible children can enjoy the following benefits during their time with us:

Free Entry: Children with a HAF code can attend our holiday club
sessions at no cost.
Packed Lunch: Each child with a HAF code will receive a nutritious
packed lunch on the days they attend OJ’s sessions.

We understand that holiday care can be a challenge for families, so we extend the free places to siblings who are also on benefit-related free school meals. This ensures that all eligible children in the family can benefit from the programme without any additional financial burden on
parents.

You should receive a HAF code from your school or local council, however to determine if your child is eligible for the HAF programme and to receive a HAF code, please contact your local council or the school your child attends. Once you have the HAF code, you can register your child for the free places at OJ’s Holiday Club.
